On the evening of April 26, South Fraser SAR assisted Surrey Police Service in the search for an 87-year-old man reported missing in the Newton area.
Thanks to the quick thinking of a community member who spotted the missing man and offered assistance, he was safely reunited with his family.
This positive outcome reflects the strong collaboration between SAR, police, and the community. We’re thankful for everyone who stayed alert and supported the search. Our team was happy to see a safe resolution and return home for some well-deserved rest.
